To be completely venerable here on insta… ( gulp) .. I wanna say that parenting is so so… ahh… just guys, it’s so… enjoyable! I know what did this crazy woman say?! Enjoyable?! . Yep… I never understood the scripture that My yoke is easy as much as I understand it now… once I become less and less selfish, being a mom gets more and more enjoyable.. . I hate how this generation labels parenting and marriage as the hardest and most challenging thing you’ll ever do…. no my friend, dying to yourself and picking up your cross everyday is the challenge… after you do that everything else becomes so so much easier… the most challenging moments in our marriage where times that I was focused more on myself then on david, when I excepted to receive instead of focused on what I could give.. when my love for david was conditional on what HE did for ME… . Now I’m not crazy and don’t live in a bubble, some days do get a bit gray and I gotta snap back into it… but the good days way outweigh the bad.. . so if some your married friends and some of your mom friends make marriage and parenting sound terrible… maybe they just need a little break, do them a favor watch their kids, let them have a date night, give them some Jesus time and they will snap out of it and come back happy little campers in no time! 💞 a little bit of Jesus goes a long way! 🤗 . . (Also emmie and @victoria.zosim are the two people on earth who think I’m funny .. and I’ll forever treasure them for that!!)
