Ella es Kristina, una chica estadounidense que ahora está en boca de todos los internautas tras contar su testimonio de cómo perdió 45 kilos sin necesidad de hacer ejercicio.

La muchacha de 25 años dijo que logró perder todos esos kilos gracias a que se sometió a una dieta cetogénica. Esto consiste en ser baja en carbohidratos y alta en grasas, obligando así a que el organismo queme grasa para transformarla en energía.

Así el cuerpo se siente en la obligación de transformar esa grasa en energía, por medio de un proceso metabólico conocido como cetosis.

Kristina afirmó que durante el primer año de dieta, solo se centró en cambiar su manera de comer, dijo que caminaba un poco de su casa a la universidad y algunas veces, hacía yoga, pero después de dos años y con muchos kilos menos, se inscribió a un gimnasio donde hace cardio y pesas para conseguir el cuerpo deseado.

So uh, pretty obvious difference here, weight-wise (103 lbs), but here's what you can't see: in the before, I was exhausted. My feet were killing me. My sister and I had walked maaaaybe a mile around San Francisco and I was so over it. I was hot, sweaty, tired, sore – from barely any walking. In the after, I'd just completed 90 minutes of heavy lifting; the fourth or fifth gym trip that week. Old Me *never* exercised for the sake of exercise. Old Me *hated* physical activity (lmao clearly). Today, I can't wait to get the gym after work — moving my body just feels good! I like feeling strong. I like feeling capable. I meant to post this yesterday but oops oh well, here it is now. When you guys ask stuff like "How did you avoid having loose skin?" I'm always kind of like ???? because… I didn't. It's right there under my clothes, just like your skin is 😆 it's not always on display! See? It's there! I just don't wear my jeans pulled down low like that on the regular, or walk around with my shirt hiked up. I have loose skin on my stomach, arms, and upper thighs – areas that are pretty much always covered by clothes. I didn't do any wraps or tricks or special things to prevent it. I did use a lot of lotion as I lost weight – not to prevent loose skin, but because I am a dry-skinned scaly lizard person and I need the moisture – and I know mine isn't *that bad* for the amount I've lost. But it's there. I just wear clothes on top of it. I haven't gotten shapewear yet, because I haven't felt the need. But maybe as I get smaller/the skin gets looser, that'll be the way to go.
